Mendis Magic

Indian Cricket Team, which is currently in SriLanka tour...it started its first Test match against The Lankans on 23rd...but before this we should discuss something about somebody...

Somebody is non other than...Ajanta Mendis...and the some thing...here it goes...

Mendis,in my first look i thought,he would be a cheeky bowler which his bowling action suggested...after that he took some wickets in his name...thought it's pure luck...and then in Asia Cup finals he made Indian Batsmen to form a queue to the pavilion...thought he's having some stuff...and then got to know...Mendis is using Carom Ball...and not giving batsmen any time to think to play a shot... Ok..now come to reality..1st Test match started with lots of expectations...SriLankans batted first...i think they've kept some magnet to their backs...unmoved from their crease...after 2 long days..they made 600 for the loss of 6 wickets...Indian bowlers did well to get rid of 6 batsmens from SriLankan team...hatss off...and hats off for Kumble for going with two pacers... :x

Then Indians came out to bat...there the slump started, they wer bundled out for just 223..where Mendis claimed 4 victims..

And..Indians started their follow-on to reach 600 mark...again they tasted Mendis Magic...took 4 wickets...resulting..SriLanka won the match with an innings and 239 runs..not to forget...Murali roured again in this match..he played crucial role in SriLankan's bowling department..

Something should be done to defend Mendis...and Dada come on..make Mendis into two...Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.....
